Visited New Shopping Mall: Pune Central

If you, unlike me, read newspapers regularly, you cannot miss the Central's 4 page separate supplement advertisement that came with Pune's Sunday Times Of India! Though I'm not a shopping freak, I decided to spend some time browsing through the store (along with and on insistence of my mommy and brother). I cannot say if it's the greatest store, but with 5 levels (4 + ground floor) and 3 tier basement parking I would say this is *just* too big a mall and worth a visit for any serious shopping freak. Central claims to have the largest collection of all major Indian and International brands under one single roof. While I visited it, one of the floors was still under construction. Located near Bundh Garden, Boat Club, and owned by Pantaloon Retail, Central is the third (or fourth) branch in the country, others being in Banglore & Hyderabad. So guys, spare some 3 hours (and that's minimum) and have a leisurely visit at this new store, you won't repent it! And hey, I forgot to add that it has Planet M music store, food joint and some more stuff that I might have missed!

They say.. "Shop, Eat and Celebrate". U mentioned abt shop and eat !!
I heard thta they have some hall or space where u can arrange for small parties and get-tpgether to celebrate the happenings !!

Apna Puneri ka ek get-together wahi rakhate hai.. kya bolata hai ??

Am very disappointed today by the attitude shown to me by the Department head of customer service. I took back a garment which was highly defective, as in color was running badly spoling my other clothes.. and also something I do not expect a mall of their repute to sell. Due to my not having kept the bill, "sorry to trust your reputation Pune Central", they sent me back after wasting an hour of mine, with no apology. Am very upset, what with me expecting immediate redressal and a real apology. lol sorry to not distrust even a mall of your standing and retain that bill. The product was new, barely a month old, and they def. agreed it is from their Garments section. tut tut and Im wiser now!

I too had a very bad experience with Pune central. I had bought a top, woth Rs 2000/- which got full og bubblings after wearing just once. Ofcourse u dnt retains bills wen u buy frm a reputed place, for u pay for quality!!!Those Bas***s didnt have courtsey to speak to customers...no repentence and apology...the shamless faces had guts to say they cant gv a creedit note or exchange as we dnt have bill...nd were nt ready to accept a mistake ...sayn the fabric is delicate nd shud hv been handled with care!!!I dnt understand what is meant by "handle with ...care!!!" :)in short...its a gpod place to hangout BUT NOT TO BUY!!!!
