1. Stealth:
http://movies.apple.com/movies/sony_pictures/stealth/
Genre: Action / Adventure / Sci-Fi / Thriller
Plot:
In the near future, the Navy develops a fighter jet piloted by an artificial intelligence computer. The jet is placed on an aircraft carrier in the Pacific to learn combat maneuvers from the human pilots aboard. But when the computer develops a mind of its own, it's the humans who are charged with stopping it before it incites a war..
Reason to watch it:
Nothing special about standard theme - US brain-damagedly developing something supremely intelligent or dangerous which then tries to take over humanity. But the special effects in trailer seems to be worth the time & money. Apart from that, Jessica Beil looks too good. If this is not enough, directed by Rob Cohen (The Fast And The Furious & XXX, both of which I liked), I believe it's worth watching.
2. Interpreter:
http://a.justmovietrailers.com/video/5131/the_interpreter_trailer.html
Genre: Drama/Thriller
Plot:
Political intrigue and deception unfold inside the United Nations, where a US Secret Service agent (Penn) is assigned to investigate an interpreter (Nicole Kidman) who overhears an assassination plot.
Reason to watch it:
Oh! The plot doesn't excite you??? Wait till u see the trailer where Nicky rules the screen! She's tooooo hot!!! Guys, don't miss this, at least the trailer.
3. House of Wax
http://a.justmovietrailers.com/video/5138/house_of_wax_trailer.html
Genre: Horror (that's official, but I would rate it Thriller based on trailer)
Plot: A group of friends on their way to a college football game falls prey to a pair of murderous brothers in an abandoned small town. They discover that the brothers have expanded upon the area's main attraction.. the House of Wax. And created an entire town filled with the wax-coated corpses of unlucky visitors. Now the group must find a way out before they too become permanent exhibits in the House of Wax...
Reason to watch it:
Seems to be a remake of old movie 'The Exotic House of Wax', not sure though.
If Elisha Cuthbert and Paris Hilton collectively don't give you enough grounds to watch this movie then PLEASE, for God's sake, get a psychiatric treatment done immediately!!!
4. The Island
http://www.theisland-themovie.com/
Genre: Action / Drama / Sci-Fi / Thriller
Plot:
Lincoln Six-Echo (McGregor) is a resident of a seemingly utopian but contained facility in the mid 21st century. Like all of the inhabitants of this carefully controlled environment, Lincoln hopes to be chosen to go to the "The Island" - reportedly the last uncontaminated spot on the planet. But Lincoln soon discovers that everything about his existence is a lie. He and all of the other inhabitants of the facility are actually human clones whose only purpose is to provide "spare parts" for their original human counterparts.
Reason to watch it:
Concept seems to be VERY exciting to me and coming from director of Pearl Harbor, you cannot put Michael Bay's movie down! Scarlett Johansson is another sweet reason not to miss this
